Think²

Think twice. Think² is a sexual education workshop that encourages youth to think through sexual decisions with the thoroughness they deserve.

Sex matters to teens. They’re talking about it; we join in and help facilitate the discussion.

The Think² program aims to help teens navigate pressing questions regarding sex, relationships, and dating. Our hope is that through education, dialogue, and asking the right questions, our teens will be better able to discern between healthy and unhealthy perspectives and behaviors.  Emphasizing respect, personal worth and value, and the right to refuse, our Think² program presents abstinence as a way of respecting self and others.

Workshops are interactive and discussion oriented and FUN!

Information focuses on the prevention of unplanned pregnancy, Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and the importance of healthy relationships.

Think Squared is a division of the Bancroft Pregnancy Care Centre. Workshops are free of charge and facilitated by trained presenters. For more information or to book a workshop, please contact us by phone/text at 613.332.4673 or email info@bancroftpcc.ca

About Think²

Teachers and Youth Leaders invite the Think²  program in to their schools or groups to speak from an abstinence-based perspective, not abstinence-only.  We recognize that while abstinence is the safest option, it is not the only one. Our goal is to provide unbiased information about all options so that students can make informed choices. What teachers like about our program is the focus on healthy relationships as a means to positive sexual decision-making.

All information presented regarding birth control and its’ effectiveness is taken from Ontario Public Health and all other statistical information is thoroughly researched and referenced.

Our workshops are offered free of charge. They do not contain a moral or religious agenda. We do not do this to promote the Bancroft Pregnancy Care Centre, but rather to give information to teens so that they do not find themselves in the crisis of an unplanned pregnancy or facing the reality of a Sexually Transmitted Infection.

The information we present is both unbiased and applicable to students – regardless of their personal belief or sexual orientation. We are non-partisan, non-judgmental and unbiased in our delivery of the facts. Our primary objective is to empower students to make healthy choices.

All school presentations occur as a result of a teacher’s request or by a school’s invitation. We encourage teachers and youth leaders to contact us today about booking a free workshop for your classroom or youth group for grades 7-12.  Our curriculum is available by request for anyone wishing to understand what it is we will cover in the classroom.
